The boys both started swimming this past week. lj has taken classes since he was 18 months but this is his first class without his mama by his side. He's doing great! He was a little bit of a class clown, goofing off with the little boy sitting next to him;) He did listen well & followed most of the directions. I was the one who had a hard time letting go. who am I kidding... i am psyched that i don't have to put on a swimsuit & hop in the pool with him! wooohooo!!
e is also taking swim, it's the first time in a pool for the little munchkin. and yes i do have to put on a suit & get in the water with him. i love every minute of it:) his first class he was blowing bubbles like a pro, kicking up a storm, flipping from his belly to his back, using the kick board (that would be holding on to the kick board), using the noodle AND jumping into the water to me. not to compare... but lj was NOT doing any of that in his first class. it just amazes me how much faster the second child tries new things! e is definitely adventurous & this makes me so happy and so scared all at the same time!
