attitash & lower falls

We also went to attitash mountain... we were torn between attitash & mt. cranmore. we decided to go to attitash since the had the mountain coaster AND the luge. Landon could go on both... but he & Luke ended up only riding the mountain coaster since it was super hot & Elijah & I would have just been chillin' in the sun. So instead of spending the day @ attitash we headed over to the lower falls on the kangamangus highway. SO glad we did!! It was awesome... so relaxing for us & exciting for the boys. We will definitely be going back the next time we venture to North Conway - hopefully it will be an annual family trip!!

thomas the train

We had a blast in North Conway a couple of weekends ago. We went for Thomas the Train... something we had tried to do last year but someone bought the tickets for the wrong date... don't know who that could be;)
We did SO much fun stuff but I will spread it out over a few posts - so you don't get overwhelmed with pictures:)
The first day we went to see Thomas. It was a BIG hit!!! Lad0n was lovin' every little bit of the day. We saved the ride for the end of the day & I'm so glad we did... it was like the grand finale of the day. Landon had a huge smile on his face the WHOLE ride & looked at me w/ his big ol' smile & said "this is really fun!!!" and my heart melted;) It also made the whole thing worth it... even the nasty look we got when he peed his pants;) We're working on it lady... we're working on it!

a little piece of summer...

SO... I don't normally post my craftiness on this blog. Not sure why - maybe because I don't have a chance to get my craft on nearly as much as I would like with those two crazy boys, who dominate this blog, around! BUT when one of my besties, Jenny, asked for a post- of something crafty & beachy - to get back to her happy place how could I refuse. So, I'm linkin' up with the wonderful Jenn Shurkus, as she's better known to the crafty/bloggy world.

She is featuring a crafty item made by herself as well as linking up to another crafty individual, for the entire month of July! And the theme... what else but BEACH!!!

The best part is she is actioning off a TON of super cute, super fun, super beachy stuff... yup that's right one lucky winner will win all the items made by Jenn & a few made by her wonderful crafty friends. Mine will be added to the loot:) The best part is... Jenn is donating all of the proceeds to Sue Avila.

Here's what I made. A 7x14 Canvas - I used gesso & paint & embelished with a star fish:)
